Mary Krull, 94, of Flandreau, SD, died Friday, Aug. 5,1983. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Bryan Woken officiating. Interment was at Hills of Rest Memorial Park, Sioux Falls, SD, under direction of Skroch Funeral Home.

Mary Krull was born Nov. 24,1888, at Opdal, Norway. She came to Canton, SD, in 1891 with her mother and sisters to join her father who had come to America earlier. She was married to Frank Krull on Feb. 24,1915, at Canton. The couple fanned in the Hudson-Hawarden area until 1924 when they moved into Hawarden where they lived until 1948 when they moved to Sioux Falls. In October, 1980, Mrs. Krull moved to, Flandreau where she made her home with her daughter until March 1982 when she entered Riverview Manor.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Florence) Bennett, Flandreau, and Mrs. Wilbur (Olene) Degen, Madison, SD; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Hamersma, Sioux City, and Ms. Vida Rise, Hawarden; and one brother, Ingvald Rise, Parkston, SD.
