In response to a telegram announcing the serious illness of his mother Dr.(James A.) Ogg went last week to Greenleafton MN and arrived a short time before her death.

Mrs. J. A. Ogg went on Thursday to attend the funeral. Mrs. Susan Ogg was born in Pennsylvania seventy eight years ago and spent the last fifty years of her life in Greenleafton MN. Eight children were born to them all of whom attended the funeral.

(From the 1870 census her husband was Joseph Ogg then 45 yrs and she was 40. The 1880 census of Bristol Fillmore Co. MN listed Joseph 53 born PA, Susanna 49 born PA, children listed - David 20, James A. 18, Samuel 16, and Malan 10 at the time. In the same place in 1900 she was a widow living with her son David's family. According to a family history found on ancestry.com her maiden name was Beekley and her parents may have been David Bueghly and Sarah Miller.)
