Henry B. Rozeboom, 74, of Rock Valley, died Saturday, April 10, at Hegg Memorial Hospital in Rock Valley after a long illness. Services were at the First Reformed Church in Rock Valley, with the Rev. Roger Voskull officiating. Burial was at Valley View Cemetery.

Rozeboom was born October 24, 1918, in Carmel, the son of Will and Josie (Wesselink) Rozeboom. He graduated from the Rock Valley Public High School in 1937. He married Gertrude Kooima on September 12, 1941, at her family farm near Rock Valley. The couple lived on the family farm southeast of Rock Valley until 1989, when they moved to Rock Valley.

Mr. Rozeboom was a lifetime member of the Reformed Church of America, serving in various leadership positions at First Reformed Church and Faith Reformed Church in Rock Valley. He also served on the Hope Haven school board.

Survivors include his wife, Gertrude; two sons and their wives, Lyle and Carol of Rochester, Minnesota, and Dennis and Cathy of Maple Grove, Minnesota; two daughters and their husbands, Linda and Stan Van Peursem of The Woodlands, Texas, and Bonita and Gary De Bruin of Vernon Hills, Illinois; grandchildren, Aaron, Nathan, David and Debra Rozeboom of Rochester, Dustin and Heather Van Peursem of The Woodland, Noah and Micah Rozeboom of Maple Grove and Kristen and Laura De Bruin of Vernon Hills; a brother, Willis and his wife, Marge, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and two sisters and their husbands, Anna Marie and George Van Beek of Rock Valley and Verna and Russ Miller of Overland Park, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Henry; and a sister, Harriet Broek.
