John A. Dalton, 83, of Mayvllle, ND, formerly of Hawarden, died Friday, June 10 in Mayville. Services were at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hawarden. The Rev. William Carel officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Dalton was born June 3,1900, in Hawarden He married Mary Martina Murray October 2,1929, in Eft Point, SD. She died June 27, 1976.He was in the auto and farm implement business while in Hawarden and moved to Mayville eight years ago.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Jeanne) Landwehr of Mayville; two sons, Joseph of Boise, ID and Stephen of St. Cloud, MN; one brother, Joseph of Akron; one sister Isabella Maurer of Thermopolis, WY, and six grandchildren
