Antonia Grooters, Mrs. Ben Grooters, 96, of Boyden, died Monday in a nursing home at Sheldon. Services were at 11 a.m. Thursday in the First Reformed Church in Boyden. The Rev. Sylvester Moths officiated. Burial was in the Boyden Cemetery under direction of Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Boyden.

Mrs. Grooters, the former Antonio Moret, was born July 12, 1884, in Orange City. She was married March 8, 1905, in Orange City. Mr. Grooters died May 14, 1972. She was a charter member of the Sheldon Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include one son, L.V. of Boyden; one daughter, Mrs. Ed (Mildred) Blumeyer of Sheldon; one brother, H.C. Moret of Orange City; 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-greatgrandchildren.
