John Rozenberg died last Friday in the Sioux City hospital at the age of 55 years. He had been sick for several weeks and about two weeks ago he was taken to a hospital in Sioux City when an operation for appendicitis was successfully performed. Later lung fever developed from which in his weak condition the patient was unable to recover.

Twenty eight years ago he was married in Pella to this his second wife. Of the two sons born to them one died several years ago and the other Jelle resides near Boyden and who with is mother are left to mourn the loss. The funeral was held Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. Stepelkamp.
