Ralph A. Schuetz, 60, Alton, died Monday of a sudden heart attack. Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Alton St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father David Hogan officiating. Rosary and prayer service will be Wednesday evening in St. Mary's Gym. Interment will be in Alton St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mr. Schuetz was born Aug. 10, 1921 in Granville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Scheutz. He was
married Feb. 25, 1946 in Remsen to Rita Kass. He farmed in the Alton .area for many years. He was a
member of St. Mary's Church and a director of the Alton Development Corp.

He is survived by a wife .Rita, Alton, sons Lyle and Richard, both of Alton, his mother, Mrs. Albert Schuetz, Remsen, a brother Francis Schuetz, Marcus and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene, his father, Albert and a brother, Wayne. Roethler Funeral Home, Marcus, is completing arrangements
