Herbert Wielenga, 91, Orange City, died Thursday, January 17, in a nursing home at Hull. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Calvary Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. John T. Ebbers officiated. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City.

He married Johanna Vink Feb. 28, 1912, at Orange City. She died in 1944. He married Alice Vander Waal in October 1952. She died in October 1966. Mr. Wielenga farmed at rural Boyden until moving to Orange City about 30 years ago. He had been, a resident of Pioneer Home at Orange City before moving to the nursing home at Hull. He was a member of Calvary Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include a son, Louis H. of Boyden; three daughters, Mrs. Marynetta Bergsma of Lake wood, Calif., Mrs. Henry (Delia) Pals of Slay ton, Minn., and Mrs. Lorraine (Hermina) De Zeeuw of Bellflower, Calif.; three stepsons, Nick Vander Waal of Eugene, Ore., and John and Bert Vander Waal, both of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two sisters, Mrs. William (Marie) Van Roekel of Rock Valley and Mrs. Henry (Elizabeth) Van Roekel of Boyden, 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
