Everett Stewart, 56, of Leitchfield, Kentucky died Sept. 12. He was born May 22, 1924 in Jefferson County, son of John and Nannie Stewart. He was the husband of Beulah Hawkins Stewart, former Hawarden resident. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the South Jefferson Baptist Church.

Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Nancy Reed of Leitchfield and Patricia Tabor of Louisville; two sons, Everett Jr. and John of Leitchfield; 4 grandchildren; one half {brother, Walter Smith of Philadelphia, Penn; and one half sister. Mrs. Velma Miles of Leitchfield.; Services were held Sept. 15 at Rogers Chapel with interment in the Haynes-Rock Cemetery.
