Miss Freida Shoraga, 28, died at her home early Tuesday morning from multiple sclerosis; a disease of the nerves.

Miss Shoraga had been a sufferer from the disease for about 12 years and was hopelessly bedfast two years. Prior to this she was confined to a wheel chair for three years. During her long illness she was cared for constantly by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Shoraga, assisted by her sister, Mrs. John Talsma. At two different times she sought medical aid in the Sioux Valley hospital in Sioux Falls.

Freida Shoraga was born December 1, 1919, at Alcester and came to Hawarden with her parents when three years of age. She attended the Hawarden schools and graduated from the local high school in 1937.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawarden. She taught a Sunday School class as long as she was physically able. After she was unable to attend Sunday School she served as treasurer and kept the attendance record in her home.

Survivors besides her parents are a sister, Mrs. John Talsma, of Hawarden and one brother, Dr. Louis Shoraga of Greenburg, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 1:30 at the Barnard Funeral Hine and at Trinity Lutheran church at 2 o'clock with Rev. H. W. Krieger of St. Paul's Lutheran church of Ireton in charge. Interment will be in the Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery, south of Alcester.
