Kenneth Edward Giffin, three month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Todd Giffin of Hawarden, died suddenly Tuesday, April 29 in the Hawarden Hospital. Graveside services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Grace Hill Cemetery under direction of the Dow Funeral Home at Hawarden. The Rev. Arthur J. DeNeui officiated.

The infant was born Feb. 8, 1980, at Akron. Survivors include the parents, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Giffin of Hawarden; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Schlotman of Sioux City; great grand-mothers, Mrs. Margaret Anderson and Mrs. Gladys Giffin of Hawarden and Mrs. Mary Fairheart of Akron; great-great grandmother, Mrs. Stella Waddell of Hawarden; and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schlotman of Sioux City.
