Kevin Peterson, 18, of Alcester, died Monday, May 26 in a car accident near Alcester. Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Roseni Lutheran Church, rural Beresford. The Rev. Ralph Christopherson officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery under direction of the Wass Funeral Home of Alcester.

Mr. Peterson was born Feb. 23, 1962, in Hawarden, Iowa. He was reared in the Alcester area and graduated from the Alcester High School in 1980.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Peterson of Alcester; four brothers, Gary and Rodney, both of Le Mars, and Jason and Jarvis, both of Alcester; two sisters, Mrs. Dennis (Cheryl) Lounsbery of Beresford and Mrs. Robert (Eunice) Richmond of Plano Iowa and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Andrews of Beresford.
