Mrs. Beulah (Nolen) Waterman, 71, of LeGrand, Iowa, died Thursday in Rochester, Minnesota. Services were Monday morning at the, Friends Church at LeGrand, lA. Burial was in Marshalltown.

She was born April 18, 1909 in Alcester, S.D., the daughter of Norris and Anna Belle Green. She was married to Nolen Waterman Feb. 21,1928 at Elk Point, S.D. He survives.

Also surviving are five children, Mrs. Alona Boyles of Bluegrass, Iowa, Mrs. Delores Crookshank of LeGrand, Iowa, Keith Waterman of Davenport, Gerald Waterman of Marshalltown and Mrs. Corriune Reed pf West Des Moines; 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, Hank Green of Hawarden, Lyle Green of Hawarden, Glen Green of Anaheim, Calif., Mrs. Vivian Marshall of Hawarden and Mrs. Rosilyn Lindquist of Evansdale, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and three grandchildren. She was raised and educated in the Alcester and Hawarden area. She lived in Hawarden until 1942 when Mr. Waterman went to work in Bremmerton, Wash. They moved back to Hawarden in 1945 moving to the LeGrand area in 1952. She was confirmed in the Lutheran Church and was a member of the LeGrand senior citizens and an officer of Marshall county geneology society.
