Funeral services for Andrew Peter Andersen, 94, who died Tuesday in the Hawarden Nursing Home, will be held at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon in the Barnard Funeral Home. Rev. E.C. Beyer of the Peace Lutheran Church near Alcester will office.

Mr. Andersen was born August 12, 1854, in Denmark. He came to America as a youth of 18 years, locating at Ireton. He engaged in farming and later lived northeast of Hawarden. For a time he lived near Vermillion where he farmed. In 1919 he returned to Hawarden and made his home with his sister, Mrs. Amelia Jacobs. Six years ago, when Mrs. Jacob’s health failed he moved to the Hawarden Nursing Home.
