Mrs. Sadie Shriner, 52, died in a hospital in Columbus, Ga., Monday December 22, following a cerebral hemorrhage.

Mrs. Shriner had gone to Columbus to spend Christmas with her three children at that place. She had been in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Randall Ballard, only three hours when she was stricken. She became unconscious when she suffered a hemorrhage and did not regain consciousness.

The body was brought to Hawarden where funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the Frazier Funeral Home with Rev. B. Roy Brown officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Sadie Krull was born in Hawarden December 8, 1900. She lived all her life in this community. On January 13, 1920, she married Clarence Shriner, who preceded her in death by about 11 years.

Survivors are five children, Mrs. Randall Ballard and Frederick and Marilyn Shriner of Columbus, Ga., and Mrs Wayne Hedden and Gerald Shriner of Hawarden; two brothers, Jake Krull of Hawarden and Frank Krull of Sioux Falls, and four grandchildren.

Her three children and James Bertrand of Columbus, Ga., came for the funeral.
