Mrs. Penny Jean Hout, 26, of Centerville, a former Hawarden resident, died unexpectedly Sunday, Dec. 23 at her residence of brief illness. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Dow Funeral Home at Hawarden. The Rev. Robert D. Hansen officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Hout, the former Penny J. Anderson, was born June 13,1953, at Hawarden. She had lived in Centerville for the last few years.

Survivors include two daughters Trade Lynn and Tara Lee, her mother, Mrs. George (Irene) Anderson, a brother, Tom, and a sister, Miss Judy, all of Centerville and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Kluver of Star buck, Minnesota. Beresford. There was a Masonic Service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Wass Funeral Home at Beresford.
