Robert P. Johannson, 89, Chatsworth, died Wednesday, March 26 in the Hawarden Hospital of a brief illness. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Schroeder Funeral Home at Akron. The Rev. Marvin Mueller officiated. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery at Akron. .

Mr. Johannson was born Dec. 18,1890, in Semain, Germany. He immigrated to the United States and to the Chatsworth area in 1923. He worked as a farmer laborer at Chatsworth, Westfield and Akron before retiring to Chatsworth many years ago.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Karle Beck of Lahrensdarf, Germany
