Mrs. Greg Winterfeld, 27, of Remsen and .formerly of Hawarden, died Saturday, April 19 in an automobile accident near Remsen. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the American Lutheran Church at Hawarden. The Rev. Robert D. Hansen officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden under the direction of the Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Winterfeld, the former Judy Kay DeWall, was born Oct. 25, 1952, at Hawarden.. She graduated from West Sioux Community High School. She was married to Mr. Winterfeld June 11, 1971, at Hawarden. They lived at Hawarden and at Le Mars before making their home at Remsen.

Survivors include the widower; three daughters, Jodi, Jill and Joey; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen DeWall of Hawarden; three brothers, Gene DeWall of Albuquerque, N.M., Randy DeWall of Hawarden and Jerry; one sister, Janice, of Hawarden; and her grandmother, Mrs. John DeWall of Alcester, SD.
