Funeral services for Mrs. Mort. Shook, 62, who died in the Osteopathic hospital in Sioux City Monday following an operation, will be held at the home at 2 o'clock this Thursday afternoon and at 2:30 at the Methodist church. Rev. Francis L. Brockman will officiate and burial will be in the Ireton Cemetery.

Mrs. Shook was taken to the hospital Sunday, January 12, for an operation.

She was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, August 16, 1885. On March 25, 1903 she was united in marriage with Mort Shook and to this union were born four daughters and a son. She came in Ireton in 1932 and resided here ever since. She was a member of the Methodist church, the W.S.C.S. society and the Rebekah lodge.

She is survived by her husband and the following children; Mrs. Oscar Lehrman of Spencer, S.D.; Mrs. Alda Gregor and Dwayne Shook of Minneapolis, Minn; Mrs. John Amen of Regan, Nebraska; and Mrs. Harold Deiters of Ireton; a half-brother Frank Getchels, both of Valley City, N.D. nine grandchildren and one grandchild.
