Mrs. Elizabeth Seiwerath, 81, a resident of this vicinity 33 years, died Friday at the Hawarden hospital after a short illness.

Mrs. Seiwerath has lived in the home of Mrs. Hannah McManaman, but when she became ill she was taken to the hospital.

Funeral services were held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at St. Mary's church with Rev. Fr. R. Graf officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery under the direction of the Frazier Funeral service.

Elizabeth Koob was born December 29, 1869, in Luxembourg. She married John Benedict Seiwerath while still in her native land. They came to America 33 years ago and located in Hawarden. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. John Theis, Sr. of Hawarden, seven nephews and four nieces. She was a sister-in-law of Mrs. Susan Koob and John Mulder.
