Funeral services were held at Westminister Presbyterian church in Gary, Ind., Monday, Sept. 24, for a former Sioux Center man Sidney Schutt of Gary, Ind., who died unexpectedly Thursday.

Mr. Schutt was in the building construction business. He was born August 28, 1910 at Sioux Center, Iowa. He is survived by his wife, Hendrene; one son, Frank; one grandchild; his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schutt, all of Gary, Indiana; and one sister, Mrs. John Mantel of Doon, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1923 and one brother, John, who died 1944 with the First Army in Germany.
