Gerrit Rozeboom, 78, Alvord, died Friday, Nov. 8, in the Marion Health Center in Sioux City. Mr. Rozeboom was born May 14, 1907, in Ede, Holland! He came to the United States in March, 1913, to Lebanon, Iowa.

He married Antonia Fluit Jan. 30, 1930, in Lester. They fanned in the Inwood, Rock Valley, and Alvprd areas. He .was a member and elder of the Netherlands Reformed Church in Rock Valley.

Survivors include his wife; five sons: Dick, Canton; Tuenis, Sheldon; Gerrit A. (Gary), Alvord; Antonie G.(Tony), Doon; and Leonard H., Rock Rapids; three, daughters: Mrs. Herman (Clazina) Spaans, Corsica; and Mrs. John H. (Gertrude) Van Beek, and Mrs. Willis (Jennieva) Den Boer, both of Rock Valley; 33 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a sister; Mrs. Sophia Roskam, Rock Valley.

Services were Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Netherlands Reformed Church, Rock Valley. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery, Rock Valley.
