All of the children except Ed Wolf, of Marshall, Minnesota, and Mrs. William Kramer of Norfolk, Nebraska were present during her last moments, the two mentioned not being able to arrive in time to see their mother before she passed on.

Margaret Mandershield was born at Castor, Luxemburg, in 1845. The funeral was largely attended in spite of the inclement weather and bad roads. Among those from a distance who attended the funeral were Mrs. Elizabeth Goedert, son Orando and daughter Lorene, Mr. and Mrs. M.J.
