Eleanor M. Kroese
Eleanor Mae Kroese, of Norton Shores, Michigan, formerly of Hull, died Wednesday, November 8, at McCally Place in Michigan. Memorial service was Friday Bethany Christian Reformed Church in Muskegon, and another service was 1 p.m. Monday at First Christian Reformed church in Hull, with the Rev. Carl Klompien officiating. Burial was in Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Kroese was born on May 23, 1939, in Boon, the daughter of Peter and Dena (Willemstein) Visser. On July 25, 1956, she married Albert Kroese. They made their home in Iowa, until moving to Michigan in 1999.

She was a member of Bethany Christian Reformed Church, where she was active in the Circle of Grace. She enjoyed playing the piano and providing music at missions and nursing homes. She liked working with flowers, as well as helping on the farm.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Al; three children, Terry Kroese and his wife Joyce of Rocheport, Missouri, Pamela Kroese of Jenison, Michigan, and Julie and her husband Craig De Marr of Muskegon; five grandchildren; three sisters and their husbands, Arlene and Harold De Groot of Grandville, Michigan, Joan and Calvin Huizenga of Jenison and Linda and David Hoek of Caledonia, Michigan; and many nephews and nieces.
