Mrs. Arie Steenhoven passed away early Tuesday morning, July 30, 1946, at the Doornink Hospital at Orange City. She was 64 years of age.

She had been ailing for several weeks, but became critically ill on Sunday and was removed to the hospital on Sunday evening.

Mrs. Alberdena Steenhoven was born at Groenigen, Netherlands, on February 26, 1882, and came to this country in 1911. In the year of 1913 she was united in marriage to Mr. Cornelius Brinkman who preceded her in death on September 19, 1940. On July 8, 1945 she was united in marriage to Mr. Arie Steenhoven who now survives her with the following children; William Brinkman of Sioux City, Gerrit Brinkman of Byran, South Dakota, Henry Brinkman of Des Moines, George Brinkman of Sioux City and Gertrude Brinkman of Des Moines. There are also seven grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters who still live in the Netherlands and one sister, Mrs. Dick Haspers of Hull, North Dakota, also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 1:15 at the home and 1:30 o’clock at the First Reformed Church. Rev. Henry Colenbrander of the Reformed Church at Orange City will officiate, assisted by Rev. Bernard Haan of the local First Christian Reformed Church. Burial will take place at the local cemetery.
