Mrs. Mary Van Wyk died suddenly at her home in Santa Ana, California, Wednesday evening following a stroke. Mrs. Van Wyk and her sister, Mrs. Tena De Jong of Orange City, there on a visit, were going for a walk when she became ill and passed away a few hours later.

Funeral services were held Saturday. A wire concerning her passing was received by the Neal Schalekamps and Gerrit Notebooms Thursday morning.

Surviving are her son, Chas. Van Wyk of Santa Ana; and her brothers and sisters, Neal Schalekamp and Mrs. Gerrit Noteboom of Orange City, Henry Schalekamp of Sioux Center, Dick Schalekamp and Mrs. M. McNutt of Sheldon, and the Misses Cynthia and Elizabeth Schalekamp of Santa Ana, and Mrs. De Jong.
