Granville-Agnes (Mrs. Christopher) Thorman, 85, died Friday, April 22, 1988 at the Orange City Municipal Hospital.

Services were at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 25, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church here with the Rev. Robert W. Gralapp officiating. Interment was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, under the direction of Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen.

Pall bearers were: Donald Gergen, Clarence Holles, James Howard, Leverne Pottebaum, Wally Shafer and Norbert Zens.

Agnes Feller, daughter of John & Theresa (Krantz) Feller, was born August 2, 1902 near Oyens. She was raised and educated in the Oyens area and moved to the Granville area with her parents later. She married Christopher Thorman, January 22, 1923, at Granville. He died July 5, 1971. They farmed near Granville and in 1948 moved into Granville and retired from farming in 1957.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and Catholic Daughters of America, all of Granville.

Survivors include two daughters, Caroline Horkey and Marian (Mrs. Robert) Schnurr, both of Granville; four sisters: Appolonia (Mrs. Albert) Baadte; Alverna (Mrs. Lawrence) Langenhorst and Gertrude (Mrs. Leo) DeForce, all of LeMars and Marie (Mrs. Leonard) Howard of Granville; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Christopher; and two brothers, John Jr. and Lawrence.
