Hull-Than Thao, 63, Hull, died Thursday, Aug. 14 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Services were Monday, Aug. 18, at Oolman Funeral Home in Hull, with Father Douglas Klein officiating. Burial was at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Rock Valley.

Than Thao was born July 12, 1940 in Laos. He married Hau Cathi in Laos. They came to the United States in 1975 and settled in Inwood. They moved to Hull in 1978. He was employed at K&O Manufacturing in Hull.

Survivors include his wife, Hau Thao of Hull; a daughter, Cathi Anderson of Hull; two grandsons; and five brothers and sisters in Laos. He was preceded in death by two brothers and sisters.
