Renae L. Norenberg, 66, of Hawarden, formerly of Monrovia, California, died Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the Hawarden Community Hospital.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden with Rev. Todd Bunge officiating. Burial will follow in the Grace Hill Cemetery in Hawarden.

Renae L. Norenberg was born February 28, 1942 in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur and Gloria (Kuta) Turgeon. She married Larry Bruder on June 4, 1960 in Sioux City. Renae was employed as a personnel director at a Target store in Monrovia, California. Her husband Larry Lee Bruder passed away on August 16, 1989.

Renae was a member of the singing group "Sweet Adelines".

She is survived by 2 sons, Rahn Bruder and wife Kristy of Roseburg, Oregon and Chaseann Henry and husband Michael of Hawarden, Iowa; a brother, George Turgeon of Omaha, Nebraska; a sister, Carrie Smith and husband Don of Buckeye, Arizona; 15 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Renae was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bruder, her parents, Arthur and Gloria; a brother, Charles Turgeon; and a granddaughter, Krystal Sperry.
