Grace Kleyn, 75, Rock Valley, died Wednesday, October 5, 1988 in McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls. She was born December 3, 1912, in Plato Township, Sioux County, Iowa. She attended rural school, then worked as a housekeeper and later at Farmer's Elevator in Rock Valley. She moved to Lyon Manor Care Center, in Rock Rapids in February 1987.

She was a member of Netherlands Reformed Church, Rock Valley. Survivors include one brother, Cornelius, Rock Valley; and five sisters: Frereaka Gerritsen, Mrs. John (Dina) Wiekamp and Marie Kleyn, all of Rock Valley; Mrs. Herman (Lena) Kruid, Sioux Center; and Mrs. Jasper (Jennie) Van Veldhuizen, Steen, Minn.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 7, 1988 in the Porter Funeral Home, Rock .Valley, with burial in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation was also held at the funeral home.
