Hospers - Funeral services for Wayne D. Stofferan, 40, Dodge City, KS, formerly of Hospers, were April 17, 1986 at Dodge City. Burial was in Dodge City.

Mr. Stofferan passed away April 14, as the result of injuries received in a plane accident at Norfolk, NE.

The son of Lawrence & Grace Stofferan, Hospers, he was born Jan. 18, 1946, at Hospers where he lived his youth. He married Bev Webb, Oct. 12, 1964. Following their marriage they lived in Iowa before moving to Kansas. They settled in Dodge City in 1980. He was a plant superintendent of Hy Plains Dressed Beef, Inc.

Mr. Stofferan is survived by his wife, Bev, Dodge City; three children, Mrs. Chris (Debra) McKee, Lonnie and Allen, all of Dodge City; his parents, Lawrence & Grace Stofferan, Primghar; two sisters, Myrna Swan, Fargo, ND; and Betty Van Der Sloot, Sibley; and a brother, Lowell, Cardiff, CA.
