Died: April 5, 2013James Ernest Meins died April 5, 2013. Funeral services were held in Greely CO. on April 9.
Jim Meins was born August 27, 1936 to Ernie and Cray Meins. He grew up in Hawarden and married Carol Finch of Hawarden on Nov. 4, 1955 in Luverne, Minnesota.
Jim and Carol lived in many places around the country and for the last several years in Deming, NM.
Survivors include his wife; six children, Kent of Tulsa, OK., Allen of Denver, CO., Jim and Sherry Meins of Canyon City, CO., Kurt Meins and Mona Meyer, both of Greely, and Tina (Paul) White of Denver; ten grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Ron (Gloria) Finch of Hawarden and Terry (Grace) Finch; and an aunt Sally Nelson of Dolliver, IA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie Meins and Cray Goldsmith; and his in-laws Ray and Vivian Finch and granddaughter Charie Meyer.
