Mrs. Gerrit Vande Berg, formerly of Sioux Center, and for the past number of years an Orange City resident, passed away at her home in Orange City early Wednesday morning, March 31, She was 72 years old. She had been ailing for a number of months.

She is survived by her husband and four children; John G. Vande Berg of Sanborn, Mrs. Raymond Lubbers of Gibbsville, Wisc., Bert Vande Berg of Dubuque, and Gerrit J. Vande Berg.

One daughter, Mrs. Dick Smith preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon April 5, at one o'clock at the home and at one thirty o'clock at the First Reformed Church at Orange City. Rev. Henry Colenbrander will officiate at the services and burial will take place at the Sioux Center Cemetery.
