Mrs. Delia F. Krommendyk, 80, of Hull, passed away Tuesday, June 23 at the Sioux Center Community Hospital. Delia was born May 10, 1907 at Hull, the daughter of William N. Dykstra and Bertha Ten Kley Dykstra. She spent her childhood and attended schools in Perkins and Hull. In 1924 she graduated from Western Christian Academy. From 1924 through 1929 she taught school in Baldwin, Wis., and Perkins.

On Sept. 12, 1929 she was united in marriage to Fred Krommendyk at Perkins. During their married life they lived on several farms in the Hull area. In addition to farming they were involved in the dairy cattle business. Mr. Krommendyk passed away June 24, 1972 in Germany. Mrs. Krommendyk then moved to a home in Hull where she lived at the time of her death. She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Hull where she was active in the Bereans and the Helping Hands Society.

Survivors include five children, Bernard of Ontario, Calif., Willard of Grand Rapids, Mich., Mrs. Roger (Harriet) Sikma of Allandale, Mich., Berwyn of Omaha, Neb., and Fred of Orange City; 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one brother, Richard W. Dykstra of Hull.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son Berwyn Earl, one daughter, Berna Merle, one brother, Edward W. Dykstra, and one granddaughter, Kimberly Sue.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 27 at the First Christian Reformed Church In Hull, with the Rev. Gerrit Vander Plaats officiating. Interment followed at Hope Cemetery in Hull under the direction of the Kraai-Oolman Funeral Home of Hull.
