Mrs. Lammert Van Wyhe of Rock Valley passed away at the hospital at Rock Rapids on Tuesday at the age of 84 years. She was taken to the hospital about ten weeks ago when she received a broken hip in a fall.

She is survived by six daughters, Jennie (Mrs. John Van Berkum), Gertrude (Mrs. Dick Wynia), Annie (Mrs. John Van Vooren), and Allie (Mrs. Neal Dodewward) all living near Lester, Iowa; Mina (Mrs. Leo Cogswell) of Rock Valley; and Dora (Mrs Barney Simensma) of Colton, S.D. Also three sons, John of Lester, Dick of Colton, and Lee who makes his home in Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband who passed away five years ago and one 18 year old son who passed away several years ago.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at the First Reformed Church at Rock Valley with the Rev. Aberson officiating.
