Rites Monday For James C. Kool Funeral services for James C. Kool, 56, of Boyden were held at the Boyden Presbyterian church, with burial in Sheridan township cemetery.

Mr. Kool was born at Parker, S.D., and had been in business in Boyden for the last 15 years.

Survivors are the widow; three daughters, Mrs. LaVeme Riikne of Ashton, la., Mrs. Raymond Hulley, Jr., of Sanborn, and Merry Lou at home; two stedpdaughters, Mrs. Charles Wynia of Rock Valley, and Mrs. E. K. Waine of Billings, Mont.; two sisters, Mrs. Geo. Van Peursem of Los Angeles and Mrs. Everet Boelfson of Alton; two brothers, Thomas of Sioux City and John of Alton and 11 grandchildren.
