Mrs. A. P. Stoltenberg, 93, of Hawarden died Tuesday, August 3 in a nursing home in Hudson, South Dakota.

Services were at 1:30 p.m., Friday in Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawarden. The Rev. Dwight Rengstorf officiated. Burial was in Eden Cemetery at Hudson. There was a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., Thursday in the Dow Funeral Home at Hawarden.

Mrs. Stoltenberg, the former Anna Serck, was born Jan. 3, 1889, near Rock Valley.

She married Albert Stoltenberg, June 5, 1912 near Rock Valley. They farmed in the Hawarden area, retiring in 1936. He died Oct. 9, 1978.

She was an active member of the Ladies Aid of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Carl (Ella) Miller of Hudson and one brother, William of Rock Valley.
