Clark Michael "Mic" Kooima, 33, of Rock Valley, I A, died on Tuesday, September 17, 1991 at a Sioux City hospital of injuries suffered in a two-vehicle accident southwest of Ireton, IA.

Services were held on Friday morning, September 20, 1991 at the First Reformed Church of Rock Valley, the Reverend Don Johnson officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley.

Mr. Kooima was born on September 15, 1957 in Sioux Center, IA. He graduated from Rock Valley High School in 1976, attended Clarindon Junior College at Clarindon, TX for two years, and Northwestern College at Orange City for one year. He graduated from Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City with a degree in golf course management. He spent several years in California before returning to Rock Valley to farm with his father and continue his schooling at WIT.

Survivors include a son, Michael Adam Kooima of Anaheim, CA; his parents, Clarence "Junior" and Winifred (Smith) Kooima of Rock Valley; four sisters, Linda (Mrs. Charles) Witle of Wheatland, WY, Gloria (Mrs. Larry) Dirksen of Rock Valley, Karen (Mrs. Ron) Owens of Alton, IA and Lori (Mrs. Brad) Witt of Rock Rapids; a special friend, Peggy Pollema of Rock Valley; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a niece, Kclsey Ellen Witte.
