Funeral Services for Florida Wassink, who passed away Monday, May 7, will be held Friday, May 11, at 1 o’clock at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home and at 1:30 at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Richard Venema officiating. Burial will be in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery with the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Dave J. Brock, Arend Kraayenbrink, Arend C. Wassink, Lane Visser, Tim De Stigher and Leonard Zwiep.

Mrs. William Wassink, nee Florida De Stigter, passed away suddenly Monday afternoon at her home. She died at the age of 78 years, 2 months, and 6 days. Mrs. Wassink came to this country when a young girl and on October 22, 1908, was united in marriage to William Wassink. To this union were born seven children , a son preceded him in death, dying in infancy. The following children were Mrs. John Davelaar of Sioux Center, Mrs. Richard Rens of Rock Valley, Mrs. Albert Hubers of Doon, Mrs. John Mulder of Hynes, California, Mrs. William Hubers of Doon, and Arend Wassink of Sioux Center.
