Mrs. Peter K. Miller, 92, a long time resident of Le Mars, died last Thursday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Tentinger, south of Hawarden.

Katherine Meckel was born in Berlin, Waterloo county, Canada. October 9, 1861. Following World War I, the name of Berlin was changed to Kitchener. She grew up in Canada and was married there February 8, 1881. Two years later she came to the United States, locating in Le Mars. For 66 years she lived in the same house in Le Mars, but a year and a half ago she went to live with her daughter.

Survivors are two sons, Lincoln Miller of St. Joseph, Mo., and Fred W. Miller of Le Mars; a daughter, Mrs. Tentinger of Hawarden; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 9 o’clock Saturday morning in St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars with Father La Velle officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery in Le Mars.
