Mrs. Arend Wassink passed away Monday morning following a lingering illness.She had been ailing since she fell from a car several months ago. Also she received a severe blow by the sudden death of her husband last summer.

Mrs. Wassink was born in the Netherlands eighty years ago this July. She came to America with het her husband nearly 40 years ago to day. After living in Texas for a number of years they moved up to Sioux County where they farmed. They retired, moving into Sioux Center, over fifteen years ago.

Mrs. Wassink is survived by seven children. They are: William Wassink; Cornelius Wassink; Rev. Albert Wassink of Inwood; Mrs. John Broek, Elsie; Arend Wassink, of Michigan; Mrs. Albert Kraayenbrink, Bertha.

Funeral services were held Thursday 1:30 at the home and 2:00 at the Second Chr. Ref. Church, with Rev. L. Ypma officiating.
