Funeral services for Darlene Faber, 60, of George were held Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, George, with interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Boyden.

She died Friday, August 21, 1992, at a hospital in Sheldon. Darlene Meyer was born April 13, 1932, at rural Boyden. She attended country school and worked as a secretary at the George State Bank until her early retirement due to health reasons.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Lila) Warman of Wyoming, Michigan, and Suzanne Faber of Sheldon; one granddaughter; two brothers, Irvin of George and Vernon of Aberdeen, South Dakota, and one sister, Mrs. Jim (Grace) Van Rennes of Sheldon.
