Child Found Dead in Bed
Bernice, the 3-weeks-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Faber, residing a mile south of town, was found dead in bed when her parents awakened Tuesday morning. The child had been ailing for a few days but had not been regarded as seriously ill. The family retired about 11. o'clock Monday night and she seemed to be resting comfortably at that time and they were greatly shocked in the morning when they found that her life had flown. She was born Oct. 16th so was but 24 days old. There are four other children in the family, who with the parents, are left to mourn. Brief funeral services were held at the home at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and the body was then taken to Maurice for interment
