Funeral services for Mrs. F.C. Aue will be held Thursday afternoon, February 6, in the First Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. J.M. Dykstra will officiate. Burial will be in the Sioux Center Cemetery.

Mrs. Aue died Saturday evening, February 1, 1936, at her home following a lingering illness. She was the wife of F.C. Aue, prominent Sioux Center banker.

Gertrude Van't Kerkhoff was born September 28, 1887, at Orange City Iowa. She received her education in the public schools of Orange City. She was united in marriage to F.C. Aue on August 14, 1912, immediately coming to live in Sioux Center, which has been their home. Although Mrs. Aue had been in frail health for many years she was always cheerful and uncomplaining, thereby gaining a host of friends.

She was a member of the Christian Reformed Church and did as much work for her missionary societies as her health would permit.

Mrs. Aue is survived by her husband; her father, Henry Van’t Kerkhoff, living in the Netherlands; one brother, Rev. Harry Van’t Kerkhoff, Byron Center, Michigan; and a sister Mrs. Ben Mullenburg, living near Hospers.
