Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Marie de Lespinasse, 90, mother of Dr. A. F. de Lespinasse, mayor of Hubbard, Oregon, were held the 4th of August. Mrs. de Lespinasse died August 2, after suffering a collapse two weeks before. She had been a chair invalid since Christmas when she suffered a stroke. Mrs. de Lespinasse was born at Oostburg, Wis., May 23, 1858. She had been a resident of Hubbard, Oregon, for 41, years, with her son. She is survived by her son, two grandsons, a granddaughter, two great grandchildren, and a foster daughter, Maxine Moore in the East.

(Sarah Marie Orlebeke was the wife of Dr. Gijsbert Adolph Frederick DeLepinasse, married at Oostburg Wisconsin 1879. Her husband was a pioneer doctor in Orange City late 1880s - 1900s)
