Funeral services for Elmer C. Techen were conducted Tuesday, May 27 from the Saint Paul Lutheran Church of rural Hull, with Pastor Lyle Blaede officiating.

On November 22, 1936 he married Erna Schulz in Hull, Iowa. Mr. Techen passed away at his home Saturday, May 24, reaching the age of 74 years, five months and nine days.

Interent was in the St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery at Hull, with Vogelaar-Bolin Funeral Service in charge of the arrangements.
