Funeral services for Peter Wegter, 78, of Hull were held Saturday at First Reformed Church, Hull, with interment in Hope Cemetery.

He died Wednesday, May 19, 1993, at Rock Rapids Health Centre.

Mr. Wegter was born March 24, 1915, near Boyden. He grew up at Boyden and Hull.

On February 14, 1940, he married J. Marie Van Leeuwen at Hull. They farmed northeast of Hull.

In February, 1989, the couple became residents of the Health Centre.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert of Pella and Gary of Hull; one daughter, Marilyn Horacek of Gloggnitz, Austria; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Wilbur of Deer Park, Washington, and Gerlad of Archer, and two sisters, Johanna Ver Steeg of Luverne, Minnesota, and Ester Vant’t Hul of Jackson, Minnesota.
