Mrs. Ida Ola Wills, 77, passed away Saturday morning, October 12 at the Sioux Center hospital. Following the death of her husband in 1949, she has been in failing health. For four and one half years, her daughter, Mrs. R. L. Ping and family lived with her and care for her. For the past two and one half years she has lived at the Sioux Center Nursing wing. A month ago her condition became serious.

Mrs. Wills was born at Palmer, Illinois on September 15, 1886, at a young age she moved to Sioux county with her parents, Joseph and Sarah Jones.

On January 25, 1905 she was married to Clyde Charles Wills. They farmed in the Ireton vicinity for 41 years with the exception of two years at Dallas, S.D.

In 1946 they retired and moved to Ireton.

Mrs. Wills was a member of the Presbyterian church and its Missionary Society.

She is survived by three sons, Hollis B. of Seney, Cecil B. of Beresford, S.D., Morris W. of Struble. Three daughters, Mrs. Bernice McCrory, Mrs. Lavon Toenjes, Mrs. Beulah M. Ping of Ireton, 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Daisy Bartlett of LeMars, three brothers, Clarence Jones of Wetonka, S.D., Arthur Jones of Madison, S.D., and Ralph Jones of Ireton.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 15, at 2:00 at the G.S. Bruland officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
