Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Christian Reformed Church for Mrs. Berdina (Pleiter) Vander Ziel, 82, of Orange City, who passed away at the local hospital October 13.

Re. J.B. Hulst officiated at the funeral services which were under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home of Orange City.

Mrs. Burgert Vander Ziel was born in the Netherlands in 1887.

Surviving are her husband, seven sons: Bernard, Henry of Council Bluffs, George of Edgerton, Minn., Rev. Gerrit of Canada, Stephen of San Antonio, Texas, John of Holland, Minn., and Paul of Sioux Center.

A daughter, Catheryn, Mrs. Cornie Van Leeuwen, preceded her in death.
