George H. Stange, 88 of Hull died Monday, January 1, at Hegg Memorial Hospital in Rock Valley.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 4, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, rural Hull, with the Rev. Paul Birkedal officiating. Burial was in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

Stange was born June 20, 1901 at Edelstein, Illinois. He moved with his family as a child to Sioux County. He married Anna De Jong January 27, 1925, at Spencer. The couple lived at Hull where he was a truck driver for Beckman Transfer. He retired about 1973.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church and former active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hull.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Delmar of Hull; a sister Emma Steffen of Sioux Falls; three grand sons and two great grand children.
